Upcoming Quilting Workshops

Join us for our monthly quilting workshops! Check back regularly for updates and new class offerings. All classes are on Saturdays (unless noted otherwise) from noon to 6 pm. Prices Vary. Please call the shop 352-441-1916 to secure your spot. No open sew on Saturdays due to Classes/traffic in the shop. Thank you for understanding. Please bring your machine, cutting mat, rotary cutter and any tools you normally use ( seam ripper ). Fabrics can be purchased separately. 

January 2026 (Happy new year!!!)

• Quilting Basics - 1/17 - $40 plus the cost of any needed supplies. Back by popular demand! We will cover Cutting fabrics safely, fabric quality & grain, 1/4 inch seams, how to install and use a walking foot (please bring one if you have it), How to square up quilt blocks properly, understanding patterns, quilt sandwiches and finally how to sew on your binding! You will be provided a few basic quilt patterns and printed binding instructions.
• FPP - 1/24 - $50 In this Foundation Paper piecing class we will be making an adorable heart block for Valentines day. Fabric will be provided. You can use your blocks to make an 18 x 18 pillow or put together vertically to make a small wall hanging. These are easy and addictive to make!
