Upcoming Quilting Workshops

Join us for our monthly quilting workshops! Check back regularly for updates and new class offerings. All classes are on Saturdays (unless noted otherwise) from noon to 6 pm. Prices Vary. Please call the shop 352-441-1916 to secure your spot. No open sew on Saturdays due to Classes/traffic in the shop. Thank you for understanding. Please bring your machine, cutting mat, rotary cutter and any tools you normally use ( seam ripper ). Fabrics can be purchased separately. 

October Classes

• Quilting Basics - 10/25 - $40 plus the cost of any needed supplies. We will cover Cutting fabrics safely, fabric quality & grain, 1/4 inch seams, how to install and use a walking foot (please bring one if you have it), How to square up quilt blocks properly, understanding patterns, quilt sandwiches and finally how to sew on your binding! You will be provided a few basic quilt patterns and printed binding instructions.

November Classes 

• Log Cabin - 11/8 - $20 This block is a BEAUTIFUL and versatile block. We will be teaching the classic style block and showing several options of how to layout your quilt. If you have tried this and have had difficulty mastering it please join us!
• Christmas Tree Wall Hanging - 11/15 - $20 Come join us to make a Christmas treasure that will be enjoyed for years to come. 

December Classes

• 12/6 - CHRISTMAS PARTY!! - Please come celebrate with us and enjoy door prizes, Hors d'oeuvres, drinks and GREAT FRIENDS!! After the party the City of Williston will be having the tree lighting across the street. 
• Rope Bowl Class - 12/13 - $30 just in time for gift giving. Come learn how to make Rope bowls and coasters. 200 yards of rope will be provided and additional rope will be available for purchase.
